Greetings Luminary Elementary School Community,

It is with great excitement and pride that I welcome you to Luminary Elementary School, where every child is seen, valued, and supported in their learning journey.  I am honored to lead a school community dedicated to creating a nurturing, engaging, diverse, and inclusive environment where students grow academically and socially. At Luminary, our vision is simple yet powerful – to foster a school culture built on learning, achievement, and collaboration.  We believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and we are committed to providing the support and challenge each child needs to thrive.

Our talented team of teachers and staff work together to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.  Our schoolwide culture is one in which students want to come to school because it is fun and because they feel a sense of belonging and significance.  We emphasize the importance of collaboration – among students, staff, families, and the greater community – because we know that when we work together, our children benefit the most.  We are especially proud to promote a strong partnership with families and community members.  You are a vital part of your child’s education, and your voice, involvement, and support help make our school a special place.

We are excited to begin our inaugural school year with enthusiasm, purpose, and a shared commitment to excellence.  Together, we will make this a memorable and successful year for each student.

Yours in Education,

Laura P. Permenter, Principal
